In an industry dominated by algorithms, majors, and bottomless budgets, small independent record labels are the lifeblood of underground music. They’re where new sounds are nurtured, risks are taken, and fresh artists find their voice. But we can’t do it alone.

Here’s how you can support independent labels and the artists they champion — whether you’re a fan, a DJ, or just someone who loves the music.

1. Like, Share & Add to Your Playlists

It sounds simple, but it makes a big difference. When you like a track, save it to your library, or add it to your personal Spotify playlists, it helps push the release through the algorithm. Every save and stream increases visibility.

Sharing tracks on your stories or feed also introduces new ears to the music. And trust us — word of mouth still rules in this scene.

2. Tag the Label and Artists in Your Content

Playing our tracks in your sets or mixes? Tag the artist and label! Whether it’s a clip from a live gig, a radio show, or a bedroom mix, we love seeing how the music lives in the wild.

It also helps build momentum around the release and shows artists that their work is resonating.

3. Give Feedback on Promos (and Public Releases)

When you get a promo — even a quick “loving this” or “track 2 is fire” — it goes a long way. It tells us what’s connecting and encourages artists to keep creating.

Same goes for live releases. Dropping a comment, leaving a review, or sending a DM? That kind of engagement is gold.

4. Buy the Music

Streaming is convenient. But if you really want to support, buying a track or EP from Bandcamp, Beatport, or other download stores makes a tangible impact — especially for small labels and independent artists.

5. Engage on Social Media

A like, a comment, a share — it all helps. Engaging with our posts helps us stay visible in a crowded timeline. We don’t have huge PR machines or ad budgets. We rely on our community.

6. Tell a Friend

Play the tracks at afters. Send the link to someone who’d love it. Music is meant to be shared, and some of the strongest scenes have grown from nothing more than passionate people spreading the sound.

Supporting underground music doesn’t take much — just a little intention. And when you do, you become part of the story. You help shape a scene that thrives on passion, not profit. So if you love the music, show it.
