sequence label night | Strinner & His.Creator | 28th October 2020, Sheffield, UK (Cancalled)
This week we should have been our first ADE in Amsterdam and our first label event in our home city of Sheffield. Sadly, due to the ongoing global pandemic, neither are happening – not in a physical sense anyway.
While our event will not be running, we have have still enlisted the original lineup of acts and creatives who have kindly given up their time to bring you a digital version of the event

- Artists –
// Strinner // The Steyoyoke main stay and firm sequence favourite is a prolific producer & sound designer. Renowned for his beautifully crafted compositions, it’s easy to see why Soul Button and his label Steyoyoke picked him up. Strinner’s music has been supported globally by some of the worlds biggest acts, including both Sasha & John Digweed.
// His.Creator // This London based producer first came on our radar with his early productions on Spanish label Awen. His follow up EP on Infinite Depth blew us away and gained support from Afterlife’s Øostil. His.Creator has subsequently gone on to release with Tim Penner’s Slideways and the ever impressive Analisar Music.
// mpbk // James is the brains and drive behind sequence music – which he founded through his passion for discovering and showcasing forward thinking musicians. His career in the industry spans more than 2 decades, many of those years spent as a DJ and promoter.
// Jason Monkhouse // By day Jason is our A&R Manager, working with new and existing artists on the sequence rosta. By night he is also our highly adept resident DJ.
- Creative –
// Rick Wessels // Probably better know as one half of NEVERMØRE (with their hugely popular podcast series) Rick is the brain behind sequence artwork. His stunning reimagining of renaissance artworks caught our eye a while ago and we’re delighted to have him contribute to this project.
