Born in Sheffield, UK, in 2019, Sequence Music began as a podcast and quickly evolved into events and, most importantly, a record label. From the start, our vision has been to discover and support forward-thinking artists from around the world, representing their music with the same passion, care, and respect that they pour into creating it.
At Sequence, the music always comes first. We are committed to pushing the scene forward by being innovative, taking risks, and championing new and undiscovered talent. We’re not here to follow trends — we’re here to shape the future of the deeper, more melodic side of house and techno. Our focus is pure: to nurture creativity, take bold steps, and constantly evolve the sound we believe in.

James – Label Manager
James founded Sequence Music in 2019, bringing with him over a decade of experience as a nightclub promoter, DJ, and event planner. Holding a degree in Marketing & Design, he also served as a Brand Manager for one of the world’s
most iconic dance music institutions — Ministry of Sound. James steers Sequence’s creative vision, ensuring the label stays true to its roots while pushing into new territory.

Jason – A&R Manager
Jason is more than just our A&R Manager — he’s a driving force behind Sequence’s day-to-day operations. With a degree in Business and Marketing and over 20 years of industry experience, he brings unmatched passion, commercial
insight, and a sharp ear for dance floor-damaging music. Jason’s commitment to discovering and nurturing new talent is central to what we do.
